However, the initial cost of the XL90 is higher than average, which means it will take longer to recoup the initial investment through the energy savings. Like the XV95, this system may require new venting or other modifications as part of the installation. The XT80 Gas Furnace may be the compromise between very high efficiency and high price. At an AFUE of 80%, it is less expensive to purchase and install, but is less fuel efficient. The lower price will allow you to recoup your investment in a shorter period of time, but you will pay the price of higher fuel bills to accommodate the lower efficiency. The XT80 might be the ideal solution for those who do not intend to stay in their present home for a long time, and for those who live in more moderate climates who do not require the higher levels of fuel efficiency. A negative of the XT80 is that it is less fuel efficient, so your operating costs will be higher on a monthly basis as you pay for more gas. If you do not have gas as the fuel for your furnace, then you likely have oil. If this is the case for your home, then you should consider the XV80 Oil Furnace. A sealed-vent furnace, the XV80 is as efficient as many gas models, with an annual fuel utilization efficiency of 85%. It has a variable speed fan that operates in a quiet manner while warming your home. The biggest negative of an oil furnace is the cost of fuel. With the rising oil prices of today, you will pay more to operate an oil furnace than a gas one. No matter your needs, or desired efficiency, there are probably Trane heaters that would be right for your situation. WEST CHESTER, Pa. July 2009 – Metabo Corporation, a leading international manufacturer of professional grade portable electric power tools and abrasives for industrial, construction and welding applications, recently completed a blind survey of professional and do-it-yourself (DIY) tool users on important cordless power tool features in anticipation of the company’s new 18 V lithium ion cordless tool series launch. Two of the three top-rated tool features related to battery life. The ten features evaluated in the survey included battery charging time; work time per charge; comfort (size, weight, balance); power/torque; tool life/durability; weight; length of warranty; whether the tool was recommended by someone else; inclusion of a worklight; and battery service life. Each factor could be ranked 1-10 individually, with 1 being unimportant and 10 being extremely important, and was not dependent upon a ranking for another feature.
